Five people were injured in a traffic accident in Great Siege Road, Valletta, this evening. One of them is in a critical condition.
The police said the accident happened at around 9 p.m. when a silver Maruti 800 and a grey Honda Civic crashed head-on leaving a passenger in the Maruti in a critical condition.
Both drivers, the Maruti passenger and another two passengers who were in the Honda Civil were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
A parked yellow Hyundai Accent was also damaged.
Earlier, at around 5.15 p.m. a man from Mgarr was injured in a traffic accident in Mgarr.
