Updated: €25,000 raised in penitential walk

Some 1,500 people this morning took part in a penitential walk from Mellieha to Senglea, collecting a record €25,000 for Puttinu Cares. Last year more than 750 people joined in this walk, held annually since 2004, raising €14,000 . Participants contribute a minimum donation of €10.
