A Drugs Squad police officer was injured this morning while investigating a trafficking case.
The police said officers from the Drugs Squad were conducting a raid at Marsa when the policeman who was injured approached the driver of a car.
The driver, a 25-year-old man from Valletta, drove off dragging the officer with him, slightly injuring him in the process.
He will be charged with heroin trafficking and slightly injuring a police officer.
His passengers, two men, aged 29 and 47, from Cospicua, and a 29-year-old woman from Marsa, will be charged with heroin possession and abuse.
