New PBS chairman thanks the PM

New PBS Chairman Tonio Portughese has expressed gratitude to the prime minister following his appointment. He said in a statement that he had accepted to utilise his vast business management experience to give a national dimension to broadcasting with regard to culture, information, education and entertainment. He was committed to use his managerial experience to give the best results in the financial and operational performance of PBS. Dr Portughese will retain his management position at STMicroelectronics.
