Colourful clover is back

How lovely to see growing in the Siġġiewi countryside, after an absence of some years, large amounts of ruby red clover. I remember, as a child, when this used to cover much of our springtime fields but then it seemed to disappear, being replaced by much less colourful wheat crops. Its return brightens up Malta’s scenic views enormously.
