Good evening, ladies, gents and political animals. This is the penultimate debate of the 2013 electoral campaign.
The three usual suspects - Lawrence Gonzi, Joseph Muscat and Michael Briguglio - are squaring up under the Xarabank spotlight and making one further appeal to the hearts, minds and pockets of Maltese voters.

Earlier today, the Deaf People of Malta Association. The association has issued a statement decrying the lack of sign language interpretation during political debates.
"Unfortunately, our requests have fallen on the (ironically) deaf ears of people who manage and work within local broadcasting companies," the association said. "Excluding deaf people in this day and age is simply unacceptable and frankly inconceivable."
