First Anglu Farrugia, now Dr KMB, both making it known that Muscat's Labour Movement, Party, Conglomeration, whatever it is, no longer espouses the principles of old: what's going on?
Now don't get me wrong, it would be disingenuous of me to pretend to you that there is any love lost on my part for the Labour Party of old. Not to put too fine a point on it, the way the Malta Labour Party sometimes acted in the past was anathema to anyone who had anything approaching respect for the rule of law.
So the fact that Farrugia and KMB mourn its passing should be cause for people like me stand up and deliver three hearty cheers.
Forgive me, if you will, though if you don't, I don't much care, but it just ain't happening for me. Maybe it's because the Ghosts of Labour Past are way too corporeal, in the form of the people with whom Muscat has surrounded himself, for me to believe that this particular large moggy has changed its spots.
Maybe it's because, on the other hand, that the new way of doing things that Muscat has espoused, this being all things to all men along with those shiny, happy faces all over the billboards (just crying out to be grafitteed and memed, incidentally) grates as...
