BARTOLO. On January 30, at his residence, SPIRO of Mellieħa, aged 77, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Giorgina, née Cutajar, his children Mario, Victoria and Carmen and her husband Anton, his grandchildren Godwin and Annett and her husband Clive, his great-grandchildren Adriana and Caroline, his brothers and sisters, their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.15pm for St Anne Street from where the cortège will be accompanied by the La Vittoria Band to Maria Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at the Queen of Victories Cemetery, Mellieħa. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
