Man, 82, hit by car

An 82-year-old man was seriously injured this morning when he was hit by a car while crossing Constitution Road in Mosta. The accident happened at 6.30 a.m. The police said the car, a Seat Ibiza, was being driven by a 39-year-old man from St Paul's Bay. Police investigations are under way.
