BORG CARDONA. On January 18, at Villa Messina, ANTHONY, aged 68, former director general of the Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise & Industry and former treasurer to the Malta Community Chest Fund, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He is mourned by his loving wife Carmen née Falzon, his children Angela and Matthew von Brockdorff, Joanna and Stefan Farrugia and Mark and Natalie née Vassallo, his grandchildren Sandie, Christian, Julia, Louie and baby Ella, his brothers and sister David and Myriam, Alex and Danielle, and Annamaria and Joe, his in-laws Mary and Victor, Helen and Reno, and Joe and Carmen, other relatives and friends, especially his dear friend Donald Pace Bonello. The funeral leaves Villa Messina today at 1.30pm for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Community Chest Fund would be appreciated. Special thanks go to the manager and all the staff of Villa Messina for their dedicated help and support. May he rest in peace.
