God bless this country. It definitely rocks. Now the Labour brigade has announced to us that Jesmond Mugliett approves of their energy plans. Glory be for such wisdom.
As I’ve said before, I’m quite ready to be convinced—however not like some others who seem to be convinced on trust. I’ll trust when I see with my own eyes—I know I sound like a Thomas here but words like CET keep screaming out ‘beware and go easy on change’. Labour also announced that Prof Edward Mallia had endorsed the plans. However, he quickly came out and denied any such testimonial.
Back to Jesmond: to be honest, when I hear that someone like Jesmond endorses the energy plans I fear them even more. When he was a minister he didn’t manage to get one thing right in his roadworks.
Now, after Jesmond, let me guess who should be contacted by the Labour Movement to give them another energetic shove up the hill to Castille. After all, if they regard Jesmond so highly anything is possible in these impossible times. Here goes:
JPO to endorse Labour for their green credentials. (Green is not used in relation to envy and crass hatred—it is used purely with the environment in mind.)
John Dalli to endorse the Labour Party...
