Bishop Scicluna appointed Judge of the Congregation of the Faith

Auxiliary Bishop Charles Scicluna was this morning appointed Judge of the Congregation of Faith by an official degree from His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI during High Mass at the Mosta Rotunda. The appointment was made by Archbishop Gerhard Ludvig Mueller, who concelebrated Mass together with Mosta Archpriest Albert Buhagiar, five foreign bishops and 31 monsignors and priests, all members of the staff of the Congregation Of Faith. Bishop Scicluna was Prosecutor in this Congregation before he was ordained bishop.
