A visit to a waste facility may not be many people's idea of fun but quite a good number answered WasteServ's call and visited the Sant’Antnin waste treatment plant in Marsascala, which opened its doors to the public today.
Activities included face painting, jugglers, games, animators, stilt walkers and arts and crafts for children, while site tours in a double decker bus were organised for families to learn the processes undertaken at the plant.
The day remains open to the public until 4.30pm.
