Reimbursement of gas cylinder deposit set at €15

The reimbursement of the deposit on gas cylinders for customers who do not hold a receipt has been set at €15 by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services. Back in 2010, Liquigas had insisting on giving just a €5 refund to customers who did not hold a receipt. The deposit on a gas cylinder at the time was €25. Two years ago, Liquigas reduced the deposit to €10. The regulator said that should clients hold a receipt proving they paid more than €15 for their cylinder, they would be refunded the higher price.
