Ferry services to Pozzallo have been rescheduled following a collision by the MV Jean de La Vallette into the pier at Pozzallo during berthing this morning.
The company said the ferry made slight contact with the quay and until repair works on it were complete, the service with MV San Gwann, which was being deployed as a substitute vessel, would be a passenger only service.
All voyages as from this evening's Pozzallo to Malta voyage would be performed as per schedule by the San Gwann, until further notice.
All passengers booked to travel were being contacted by the company.
It apologized for the inconvenience and said it would issue regular statements to keep the public informed.
