In her greeting, the new ambassador says she is proud to be Malta's US ambassador. Malta and the US had a special relationship and the two countries worked together in times of trial and triumph. During her term she would like to reaffirm that relationship by working with the Maltese government on many of the important issues facing both the US and Malta and the world. she said. The new ambassador also spoke on Malta's hospitality, which she said was well-known in the US. The ambassador and her husband could not wait to explore Malta and Gozo and get to know the Maltese people, particularly the local artisans, she said.
