Three injured in two hit and run accidents

Three people were injured in two hit and run accidents this morning involving the same driver. The suspect has been arrested. The police said the first accident in Triq Sant'Andrija, St Julian's, took place at around 3 a.m. Two people, a 17-year-old man from St Paul's Bay and an 18-year-old woman from Kirkop, were slightly injured. While the police were still on the site of this accident, they were informed of the second one, at Paceville Avenue in St Julian's. In this accident, a 37-year-old woman was grievously, but not critically, injured. The police followed and caught a 23-year-old man from Attard who was driving a Citroen C2, the car that was allegedly involved in both accidents.
