Melita and the Maltese online-gaming community www.Lanthrax.com have renewed a sponsorship agreement enabling hundreds of Maltese and Gozitan online gamers to play against each other via the Lanthrax server hosted at Melita.
Lanthrax also confirmed Melita as the preferred internet service provider in Malta for online gamers.
Melita said this follows recently published data by international independent website www.netindex.com that showed Melita as the fastest and most reliable internet service provider in Malta. The average speed for Melita clients' as measured on their own computers via www.netindex.com was almost 20 Megabits per second, faster than any other provider in Malta and faster than the average speed in the EU.
Melita's Fibre Power broadband internet is currently the fastest internet service in Malta starting with download speeds up to 25 Megabits per second and reaching download speeds of up to 100 Megabits per second, Melita said.
