The role of parliaments in current financial crisis

German Parliament President Norbert Lammert this evening gave a public lecture on the role of parliaments in the current financial and debt crisis within the European Union. Prof. Lammert arrived in Malta on an official visit yesterday. He has held talks with the President, the Prime Minister, the Speaker and the Foreign Affairs Committee.
