A man was charged today with injuring a woman when he drove into her car, and then sped off
The incident happened in Luqa last year.
Jesmar Gafa pleaded not guilty to driving recklessly, speeding and slightly injuring Rita Galea on November 21, 2011.
He was also charged with failing to stop after hitting Ms Galea's car, driving without a licence or insurance cover.
Police Inspector Spiridione Zammit prosecuted while lawyer Jose' Herrera represented the accused.
